High Hopes Featured on Public Access Program Watch Old Lyme’s Comcast Cable Public Access Channel 14 at 7pm on the 2nd & 4th Mondays of each month for Conversations, an ongoing public access series. In October, LymeLine.com editor and Conversations host Olwen Logan talks with Kitty Stalsburg, Executive Director and Laura Brown, Volunteer Manager, of High Hopes Therapeutic Riding. In 1995, High Hopes hosted the Equestrian events for the Special Olympics World Games, attracting 180 riders from 26 countries. It is one of only five centers in the U.S. approved to teach the NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) instructor training course. High Hopes serves 220 participants per week and trains therapeutic riding instructors from all over the world. The Conversation with High Hopes airs on October 13 and repeats on October 27. To suggest a topic or guest(s) for future programs, contact Conversations producer Catherine Frank (434-1605, ext. 210; cfrank1118@aol.com)
