If These Stones Could Speak…

Posted by Shore Publishing on Oct 09 2008, 02:56 PM

The Madison Historical Society successfully presented "In Their Own Words: Tales from West Cemetary" on Sunday. Re-enactors portrayed heroes, homemakers, soldiers, and told stories of what life was like in Madison when they were alive. Told as if they had risen from their graves, the volunteers captivated tours with their researched true stories of life during that time. Here, “Deacon Abel Hoyt” (Dwight Juliani) explains a West Wharf perspective of a life of the sea. For information on upcoming programs, visit www.madisonhistorical.org.
